Applying to Notre Dame as a Transfer Student


CRITERIA FOR ADMISSIONS:

Incoming students must submit all academic, health, (including Tdap vaccination), and testing records from previous school(s). All educational testing must be disclosed, including any current IEP or 504 documents.

 

Application packets are available to prospective freshmen and transfer students. These packets may be obtained in the Main Office or download from the Notre Dame website.

 

Students interested in attending Notre Dame High School must meet the following criteria:

·       Successful completion of 8th grade.

·       Expressed positive desire to attend Notre Dame.

·       A minimum grade point average of 2.50 in core academic subjects in the two school years prior to attending Notre Dame.

·       Recommendation from current teachers and school administrators.

 

Priority is given to applicants graduating from Catholic schools, Catholic families, daughters of Notre Dame Alumnae, and siblings of Notre Dame students. Final decisions regarding admissions rest with the Principal, after reviewing the recommendations of the Admissions Committee.

 

 

ADMISSIONS OF HIGH SCHOOL TRANSFER STUDENTS

 

Applications from transfer students are accepted for consideration for admission in the fall semester each year. Transfer students must complete the transfer application, obtain evaluations from current teachers, and submit a copy of their school transcript that includes third quarter grades from their current year. Final high school transcripts will be required prior to official enrollment.
