The Transformation Campaign

Notre Dame High School has launched a new initiative that will change the face of the campus beginning with a renovated theater, expanded lobby and its stained glass exterior, as well as a beautifully designed upper plaza and lower courtyard.

  • The renovation of its mid-century theater-in-the-round will give way to an expanded stage with a sprung floor to accommodate dance classes and performances
  • Various screens will provide for creative backdrops, video streaming, films, and smart board interactions.
  • New seating will accommodate usage as a lecture hall and classroom presentation.
  • State-of-the-art sound and light systems will adapt to multiple uses: student body assemblies, liturgies, performing arts productions, as well as guest lectures and teaching/learning modules.
  • The expanded lobby will accommodate a growing theatre audience and provide a reception/luncheon setting for special occasions.
  • A stained glass image of Mary on the front exterior wall, with diffused lighting, will be the new focal point - day and night.
  • The upper plaza configuration will extend the Marian focus with a unique design suggesting the crown of the Queen of Heaven.
  • The lower courtyard, extending from the curb to the plaza stairs, will provide a much needed social setting, integrating groupings of benches, plantings, and hardscape.
  • Painting of the facilities and window replacement.
  • Technology upgrades and classroom renovation.
  • Increased scholarship funds to enable more families to enroll their daughters in Notre Dame.
